Sure PeterGreat review as always Jono!
Anyway in times of iPhoneX or other similarly capable smartphones the time for such cameras is gone - at least for me.
Peter
Lovely photos, Jono! Regardless of how well the C-Lux might perform, your photos do it proudly.
Hi RobertInteresting travelogue and camera review, Jono. I'd guess that it might be a bit too hot for me there.
I'm curious about the WiFi/Bluetooth and GPS tagging. I have the CL which doesn't do GPS by itself.
Could you explain a bit more how to do this, please?
Thanks.
I’ve re-checked this with Leica (for the 3rd time) and they now tell me that actually the shipping firmware will not use DNG files for raw but RWL files.
I’ve corrected the article (and so have others who ran it). I’m very sorry for the misinformation - and I’m just as disappointed about it as others will be
Damn!
All the best
Jono

Service, naturally! That being so, the absence of DNG files, what is the advantage of the Leica over the equivalent Panasonic?
If it's the same as previous re-branded Panasonic cameras, the Leica warranty is longer (3 years vs. 1 year?). The grip is also sometimes different, which may be less or more comfortable for you. That being so, the absence of DNG files, what is the advantage of the Leica over the equivalent Panasonic?
Thank you!A charming travel diary Jono.
And I want to escape the summer heat!
Best.
Typically the colour used to be different, but I don’t have the TZ200 to check. Then there is the resale value, which certainly keeps up better with the Leica (for much longer). That being so, the absence of DNG files, what is the advantage of the Leica over the equivalent Panasonic?
