HI Bart:OT:
Oh yes, they did it again: this p****s me off big time:
"Buyers in the UK can get the HLD-7 battery grip if they pre-order the camera before launch, plus the MMF-3 Four Thirds adapter if they purchase the E-M1 by the end of November."
That's no small chance, guys: easily worth €230 - €250
:cussing:  :banghead:
I guess I'd better migrate ...
:chug:
I guess it's a small payback for people living where fuel for their cars regularly costs about double what it costs me.:OT:

I had one with my E-1. It was maximally sharp wide open, no need to stop down. But both E-1 and E-3 are gone now, along with the 11-22 and a lovely prime, the 50/2.0 macro. The 45/1.8 M4/3 is nice, but doesn't quite replace the older 50/2, which gave me things like this:WOW, 11-22 is GEM.... ! I own one... it is a wonderful lens... compact, fast and sharp ...
Beware the pre-release sweeteners. I ordered my E-P5 with a $100 rebate for pre-ordering by June 15. Prepaid. Filled out all the papers. And waited. June came and went. Also July. Had to leave for Iceland August 1, so I called around and found a shop in Boston that had gotten a stock (before Amazon, B&H and Popflash), got a refund from Popflash, since we are old friends, and bought locally on my last day in the US. Paid MA sales tax. Lost the rebate. But I love the camera.:OT:
