Great Shot!:thumbs:Here's one for Jason - Fredrik Kesiakoff of Pro Team Astana defending his yellow jersey in today's time trial stage of the Tour of Austria, which started and ended in our lovely village. M9 with Cron 35 Asph; tried the panning technique, it's more difficult than I thought, with the riders flashing by at over 50 km/hour...
Lloyd: That would have been fun to see you and Mimi there. Al and Ashwin's photos are excellent! She's a Hasselblad film shooter (a very good one); so, it was the only camera there that wouldn't burn her hands!Great set, Matt. We really tried to figure a way to make this, but couldn't put it together. Thanks for sharing. BTW, what is that the woman is using in that last image, a dinosaur bone?
Robert: Thanks! The colors were beautiful, but, when I converted one in SEP 2 to B & W, it really made the shadows a stronger element in the image. I'll post some of these in color, later.Matt , those tubular bells shots are cool!
what PP did you use? Silver efex pro?
Steve: Thank you, sir! You do know Timothy Leary's dead?...Matt & The 0.95 Taking Us Into Warped Spacetime & Other Dimensions! Multi Level Explosion Of Geometry & Contrast! Love This Set Mr. Hawking!
Steve: Nice blast of color! These two are my favorites. Wouldn't have been the same in B & W.A Little Color...
1.
4.
M9, 90 Cron asph, 50 Lux asph
Ran out of car shots here is one from my 46th birthday party
Robert: All three are great. However, your 'birthday" shot's perfect. Framing, color, her expression are spot on. :thumbup:Elmarit 135/2.8 ( made in Canada thank you ) and a Canadian sunset
Mike: Very good (but, not funny?). Nicely mixed set of tones and intentions. All three draw the eye in.A couple from today, M8 with 35/50 'crons:

Baudolino: Steve's right, this is a "great shot". Looks like you got the "panning' down. :salute:Here's one for Jason - Fredrik Kesiakoff of Pro Team Astana defending his yellow jersey in today's time trial stage of the Tour of Austria, which started and ended in our lovely village. Love this!

Matt, thank you very much for your thoughts. Normal humour will resume shortlyMike: Very good (but, not funny?). Nicely mixed set of tones and intentions. All three draw the eye in.
#1 My favorite. The gray tones and the white highlights make the grass and thistle extremely delicate and ephemeral.
#2. Very textural; you have to look for the path and then move down it; photos like this always remind me of W. Eugene Smith's "A Walk to Paradise Garden" (even without the kids).
#3. Nicely balanced composition, arcing left to right along the weir, water flowing down and to the right, dark background with a spot of detail brings the eye back into the photo countering the movement to the right
Cheers, Matt

I love this one, Mike.
Very cool geometry-inspired shots, Matt.
Congratulations on the gallery show, Ashwin. It couldn't have happened to a better guy (or a better photographer). :salute:
