An excellent lens for my intended use (obviously).
Rather big and bulky as you would expect. Well build but the hood is a bit flimsy.
Very sharp already wide open still with smooth OOF.
And snappy AF.

Yes, they are eye-catching. Another thing which struck me was the size of the cockpit. It is very roomy. This was the world's first ever commercial jet powered airliner. Something that Frank Whittle, the inventor of the jet engine, dreamed would be possible even when he was initially developing it for military possibilities.
