Medium cameras and insurance

I was wondering who people on here use as their camera insurance company (i’m in canada). Are medium format cameras classified as a different class of equipment on insurance policies vs “regular” cameras or is it purely based on value?

Feedback on my insurance.
I run a small photography business, from my house, and have an LCC. My home owners covers Nothing in regards any of my equipment (photo gear) since it can be carried away from the house and is thus mobile i.e. can be carried out of the house. My printers, computers etc which stay in the house are covered by home owners.

For camera gear, I have to carry a separate policy which I list the gear I need to have covered. By far the vast majority of my equipment is NOT covered due to the cost.

I have my P1 back, tech camera and a few of the lenses covered, the X2D camera body, and Fuji GFX100. No Fuji or Hasselblad lenses are covered.

My yearly cost varies from $850 to 1200.00 a year depending on what I list.

I have also checked with my car insurance company, Allstate, and if my camera gear is stolen from my car, it might be covered to a limited amount.

If I had a full time business and separate location for my printers, etc. then coverable would be different as I would be covering the entire location with a blanket policy. However my volume is small and I can't justify the cost of a separate location.

This is one: Chubb valuable articles insurance. I don't have any experience with it.

Someone on this forum said “Chubb camera insurance isn't the cheapest. Just the best.”

I think Paul meant LLC, not LCC.
