Don't worry - for me too it would mean selling my granny (and she's been dead these 30 years!) not to mention all my photographic gear. It appears that Kurt sold all his M9 kit to get one.Jono said---> "Are you still using the Nikon D3? or have you ditched everything and gone with the S2 . .. . . . terrible thoughts are entering my head"<<<
You and me both Jono! At least for me, it adds new meaning to the expressions "Off with his head", "Must have his head exmined" and at least a dozen others
:ROTFL: Well, just don't hug it too hard!:ROTFL:Jono, I've clearly lost touch with reality. I'm like the abominable snowman in the Looney Tunes spoof of "Of Mice and Men" ... substitute a Leica S lens for the bunny rabbit.

KurtHere's one from this afternoon as I try to get acquainted with the Hasselblad 250/4 lens on the S2 via adapter. This is handheld at (f8?) ... it was 12 degrees fahrenheit so no I didn't pay too much attention to my settings or spend the time to set up a tripod.
Not on a web page it ain't. A P&S is overkill for a web page. "As good as it gets" is seen in big prints. The variety of photos in this thread is impressive knowing what kind of print quality is possible with each of them.... this is supposed to be as good as it gets?
