Perhaps my mind is recovering some clarity with the bitter cold weather raging outside lately. I was looking at some images from our garden patio (2022) and I recall every single photograph, including not only the weather but the circumstances of life at the exact moment. It was refreshing to see them but I still have not opened any image files from 2023-2024. (I am still not ready for that.)


That’s what I was thinking! It was dark… I was hoping for a windy day for some long exposures after sunrise, but I was really there for a completely different reason. To watch a video of the piper playing the bagpipes the day before on my bride’s birthday.I like dark shadows. Shadows are supposed to be dark!
Everything within 10 miles of them resonates with bagpipes.The next time I am in the mountains, I may do something similar on a mountain top. There is something about bagpipes that resonates with me.![]()
