Mike: Thanks! It's a really impressive all-in-one machine.Lovely set Matt, but this one stands out for me :thumb up:
Mike
Mike: #2 (juxtaposition/detail), #5 (brilliant B & W!), and # 6 (focus/subject isolation) (composition for all three) are my favorites. :thumbs:From a steam rally this weekend, M8/50 'lux:
Thanks for looking.
Regards
Mike
Rayyan: Nice jammies, sweet moment, neat pp. :thumbup:M8/lux 35 asph
Ed: Thanks! I think it looks a little dark, too. Getting the right pp for the wheat field photos is something I have to keep working on.Matt, this one stands out but looks a little dark on my screen.
Steve: Thank you!Magical Light & Composition Matt!
Ashwin: Thank a lot! About 4-1/2 to 5 hrs. Between 5 to 30 miles North of Walla Walla. You could combine wine tasting and photography? I'm no expert, but, I'm guessing that the next several weeks will see through the harvesting. I saw three crews working on Saturday. Probably more during the week. Check out this cool site: http://thepalouseguy.com/Matt, these are 2 of my favorite images from you, period. I need to get out to the Palouse. How far from Seattle did it take to get to these sites?
Best,
Ashwin
...
Matt, stunning shots! #2 with the M8 and #4, 5 & 7 with the M9 are really really nice! Excellent compositions!...
Joe/Mohammad: Gentlemen, thank you!...
Matt, amazing shots for the wheat field, loved the composition and contrasts between the grounds and the skies, well done!...
Ashwin: "B-sides"? :ROTFL: Definitely not! #1 and #3 have an "I was there" quality that works well with that pp. #2, #6, and #7 are very graphic. #6 is especially cool with the similar lines of the sleeping man and the boats. The kids and the glaring man are exceptional photos with perfect pp. :thumbs:A few from deep storage. Ashwin: IMHO - #1: I hate to say it; but, clone out the red bucket, or crop more foreground out? Cool perspective distortion. #2: Perfect light, shadow and comp...my favorite. #3: I love the gradations in light and tone. However, the gaping arch on the right spoils it for me. The left wall needs the sense of continuation that the arcade on the right has. #4: Wonderful color and light. Maybe a little straighter? Probably would ruin the proportions of the pilaster to the right? Seems slightly heavy at top? #5: Really nice. Excellent proportions.A few more processed from tonight's digging through the vault
& one ghostly one...
Ed: Here's the original and a lighter version. An improvement. Thanks for the comment.Matt, this one stands out but looks a little dark on my screen.
Peter: Terrific! These two are my favorites. Great compositions and IQ. :thumbup:Fire Dancers, from Seattle's Gasworks Park last week. M8 and 35 Lux ASPH or 50 Summicron.
