It's been busy days and no time for photography. Hopefully, that will change from Monday and onwards, when I retire from my day job.

I did take some shots at the launch of a new yacht yesterday though. GX8 with Panasonic 100-300mm:

For her 9th birthday 3 weeks ago, my daughter got a skateboard. Last night was the first attempt at a real skate park. Here's her fifth attack on the slope. GX8 with Panasonic 25mm f/1.7 @ f/1.7.

Congratulations Jorgen to your retirement.
My prediction, you will be busier than ever.
Enjoy.

I've not posted and image for ........... years! I've been nowhere and I so miss travel;
so one from the archive (Cambodia).
I even miss fantasizing about what camera I MIGHT buy in the future,
as without travel I can't justify spending an unnecessary a purchase.P1010382_DxO copy1200SM.jpg

I bought the complete Topaz package the other day. The price was low and I've been curious to see what can be achieved with these apps. First out is Sharpen AI. That's scary stuff. Below is a photo taken with a Panasonic GH1 with the Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 back in 2010. It was out of focus and very soft. Minor processing with ACR first, then the version that is processed first with Sharpen AI, then with ACR and Photoshop.

Sharpen AI does something with the colours, so some work is needed after sharpening. The result is simply amazing though. The question is if I want my old manual focus photos that sharp, if this takes something away.

Oh... and the teeth of the girl to the left are not over sharpened. They really look that bad, probably from chewing betel nuts. Photo taken in Sisophon, Cambodia.

I hadn't used my EP-3 for almost a year, so took it out to park Hallehof on a grey/drizzly day to see if it still worked OK

Here's a few I took on my walk

Castle Hallehof

Woodpecker sculpture

Sheep barn

Club house of the local flag throwing society

All Olympus EP-3 + M-Summicron 50/2 DR

-17 ° C here, and with the wind this morning, it feels like -23 ° C ... but the sky is clear, and the full moon was two days ago ... ideal for a moonshot ...
