Kaladan River, Rakhine State, Myanmar.
GM5 with 35-100 mm f/4-5.6 @ 100 mm and f/5.6

I just printed this at 61 x 47 cm (24" x 18.5"). The level of detail is stunning. There's a golden pagoda among the trees on the first hill. On the screen it's a grey dot, on the print it's a golden pagoda. Taken from a moving boat with the tiny GM5 and that $150 plastic lens. I need more cheap gear.

From 2018. On our little boat after leaving Sittwe, on our way to Mo Cherry !

Thank you for that experience Jorgen.

It's hard to pick a favourite journey from all the amazing places on this earth, but Mrauk U has a very special place in my heart. Unfortunately, the tragic events in the Rakhine State as well as in Myanmar in general have made it a difficult place to visit.

E-M1 with Zuiko 40-150 mm f/2.8 @ 95 mm and f/2.8

Another oldie, this time from Kolkata, February 2020.

GX8 with Zuiko 40-150 mm f/4-5.6 @ 135mm and f/5.6. This is actually a very good lens and can be had for very little money (I got mine for free, since the original owner didn't want it and couldn't find a buyer for it).

A few from a West Yorkshire village called Heptonstall, which has retained so much character. Always worth a visit for photography if in the area. All OM-1 with the Oly PRO 7-14 f4.
