My "new" apsc kit. Formerly used a Sony NEX and A6000 but have now gone back to Fujifilm. I selected the new X-T50 camera because of small size and value. The 40 mp sensor with IBIS were the most compelling features. I am still not a fan of the overly complex Fuji menus, but with time I learn and adapt. The 3 lens kit includes the new 16-50 Fujifilm zoom and the two Zeiss Touit primes that I used previously in sony mount versions.

It rained all night and all day today, but I think that tropical storm Deb is finally winding down and moving out of here. Just a couple of shots today taken with the X-T50 and Zeiss Touit 12/2.8. Should be able to get out tomorrow and check the water levels in the local streams.

First walkabout with the X-T50 in Stewart Park on the south end of Cayuga Lake. All with the Fujinon 16-50.

Fall Creek close to flood stage after the tropical storm passed through yesterday.

That's what I am using at the moment- an X-T50. One suggestion for the menus: remember the X-T50 has a "my menu" so custom make one with what you want to see most.

A winery on the west shore of Cayuga Lake. My former neighbor was completing his graduate work in viticulture at Cornell and he founded this winery after finding an old farm for sale that turned out to be perfect for growing grapes. I helped him plant the first vines. He sold out his share in the winery and moved to Long Island but the winery is still doing well and was re-sold last year.
