I'm contemplating getting the XT as a companion to my XF. Do any members here have one or have comments about it? (I've read all the reviews I can find on-line)

I am on the same boat as you are Bill, ideally with the 32 and the 90, but will probably start with the 645 adapter as the pandemic situation has me watching my spending, which in some ways is a good thing I guess. Also I am not out and about that much these days so I am in no rush, but at some point I will have to scratch that itch.I'm contemplating getting the XT as a companion to my XF. It was in the cards, this is your destiny... I am glad about this good timing! Thanks guys. I would have bought the XT last year if it had had tilt. But today I see the announcement about the X shutter and tiltable lenses....I have asked my dealer for a price!
Have you looked at dtcommercialphoto's shade, https://bit.ly/2GAZl7q? (No association or affiliation, no personal experience)the first one it's about the lack of a view finder which in sun light would be very useful.
The important thing is to use a very dark T-shirt, seams a stupid thing but it is the only way to se the image on the IQ4 with out reflections!
I especially love using the new frame averaging. I learned a lot about the system and averaging during my pandemic free time. You can have a look here:

I did not tried the shade but I don’t think it is very useful because the problem in the sun it’s not only the light from the surrounding but the biggest problem are reflections (the story of the d T-shirt it’s not a joke).Have you looked at dtcommercialphoto's shade, https://bit.ly/2GAZl7q? Personally, I use the Mark II Artist's Viewfinder, https://bit.ly/30NoRxn, for composing the image and camera placement, and a modified 4x5" dark/focusing cloth when focussing the camera and composition check.
We were missing your valuable contributions Doug. You must be filthy rich to even consider it
Slippery slope indeed, but you only live once. Enjoy it in good health! Thanks to all for your input - especially you Steven for the reference chart and link. I pulled the trigger today for the XT with the 32mm - to start.
(One must keep in mind that the XT is really simply a tool to get one to spend more money!)
