Steve (shtarka1), great series from the "hood". Good catch on the first and really like the last shot, great mood! Think we need to go out shooting someday soon... although its getting pretty cold now..
Joe
A few pics to share from MFA Boston yesterday.
Brought my 14month old son over for his first museum experience and for the opening of the new wing (dont tell my wife but secretly I was there for the Richard Avedon exhibition ).
Highly recommended if you are in the area. One of the original Avedon prints with Dovima and the Elephant recently sold for US $1.15 million (see pic #2) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/20/AR2010112002256.html
Thanks for looking, Joe.

Daniel, another great shot with equally great processing.12mm CV on the M9
And so do I, Daniel! Congratulations.Yes, I agree; outstanding and awesome, Daniel!
Steve: Thank you sir! I've gotten some really nice shots at that restaurant. It overlooks the main intersection at the Market and has S. and W. exposure. BTW: we weren't out at the mall to see Apollo. Just stumbled on him.Love the shadows, shapes, composition & the shiny fork!
Nice framing & grab on # 2!
Charles: Thanks. Just got our first snow of the season! 8-10 snowflakes. Spring looks nice in Melbourne....
Matt, great set with 50 Lux ...
Some shots from Melbourne last weekend, with 28 Summicron, 90 Elmarit and M9.
Joe: Thanks. #3 is British "metrosexual" at the Burberry store. My thoughts about the Msft store, exactly. But, at an Apple store, you can see things that aren't generally shown at other stores. I'll have to eventually go to the Msft store, and see if there's anything special.Lloyd, Matt, Charles & Steve: Thanks for the comments on my taxi ride

Wow, away for 2 days and so many nice shots! ...
Matt, beautiful shots! #3 is my fav. I'm learning to see the world through your "eyes" and its a wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing! If you didn't mention it, #2 looks more like a typical "Apple" store event rather Msoft ... Joe

Joe: Excellent set. I really like the composition and the moment in these three. (insert thumbs up and salute here)A few in B&W. Thanks for looking Joe
Daniel: Outstanding! Beautiful B & W. Your landscapes really are exceptional. Thanks for sharing them. :thumbup:12mm CV on the M9
Ashwin:
1. Interesting tone. Nice catch with the jugglers.
2. Nice composition, lines and B&W pp. And, they say Modern Architecture isn't sensitive to it's context!
3. Strong single point perspective sucks you in, and, then back to it's start at the people in the crosswalk.
4. Well seen with the neon sign and the herd of cops; great color
5. Dynamic capture with the bicyclist swerving to the right and the strong lines of the converging streets, sidewalks, and pedestrians; nice tonality
6. Good grab, look, and pp
7. Well, it is NYC
8. At first, you don't notice them, but, it's the birds that push it over the edge
9. It's like a street with squatters; there doesn't appear to be any pattern, or reason for that furniture and those people; nice color
10. Nicely timed shot; the clear space to the right of the closest guy allows the wall to lead the eye out and along the bridge strengthening the perspective; beautiful tone
11. Those things will Kill you!
Well done! Thanks for sharing. :salute:  :toocool:
Cheers, Matt
