Ok--several members expressed interest in seeing pictures of the Hy6 itself... My wife was laughing at me taking pictures of my camera, but for you guys...
Product shots these are not
, but hopefully you'll get the idea... Apologies, the rock the camera gear is placed on is red, and it throws off the perceived colour balance...
My new baby with the top down...
...and with the top up!
A peek through the viewfinder.
And a shot from the rear--ooh la laa!!
Front 3/4 from the other side. (Probably the best grip I've used ever, on any camera.)
Some time ago folks were discussing the size of the camera. Here it is next to a standard CD, which should be available and familiar to folks from just about anywhere in the world:
And another from the front. Quite remarkable for a full 6x6 camera!
And there were another set of questions around the colour of the Hy6. I don't know about you guys but I definitely see blue. In person and in these pics. Colours are true to real life. The only time I don't really see the blue is under artificial light where, tungsten, for example radiates hardly any blue! Just compare the neutral strip across the bottom of the Gretag Macbeth chart to see the "colours" of the Hy6. I've been told that all three flavours of the Hy6 are this colour. (Next time, black please!)
Enjoy,
Brad
