Ray, you're de-man.De-fished, de-keystoned, de-horizon-tilted, de-everythinged in Hugin.
 I think this definitely works.
I had to try it in B/W.
Lovely image of something I really dislike. Those seeds fall in my garden just after planting, clog my downspouts, find their way into my car, my house and every potted plant I have. I rid myself of them just before a new crop arrives.
The dark background works really well.
Ray, i took that picture about a week ago and that lupine head has now peaked, so we are not that much different, at least in this season. We have had a cold year so far. Lupine are usually blossoming in early June. The dark background works really well.
I have a lupin just like this in my garden - the main flower spike peaked last weekend, so that indicates our growing season is about a week to 10 days ahead of yours (not surprising as you get much harsher winters in your part of the world!)

Finally made it to Fallen Roof ruin to get a shot to match my House on Fire shot from a few years ago. A little harder hike than I was planning on (helps to not get lost ) Cool experience to shoot these ancient ruins.
