Fun with MF images 2024

A stack of 18 images of Protea scolymocephela flowers taken with a GFX 100S and Schneider Apo-Componon HR 60/4 at F/6.5 - swing and tilt on my F-Universalis to optimise the focus plane. Today was almost completely still with light drizzle, leaving fine water droplets on everything, including the spiders web top right.

Very cool flowers, I've actually only ever seen them in dried form myself

Conversation I did not expect to have while working on this image of More London from the Tower side of the Thames:
Young man sporting a vintage Rolleiflex TLR: "Pardon me, would you happen to have a spot meter I could borrow?"​
Me: "Why yes, yes, I do. I have two."​
He chose the Pentax Digital Spot, and I showed him how to use the Zone scale I had affixed. It was a fun retro moment in the midst of a digital day.
