When I got the X1D II I didn't have any native lenses, so I experimented with various FF lenses I had laying around. Some worked fine, most only so-so. Here is a shot with one I liked a lot.

Hanging out of my window (a little) I get this view, once I crop out telephone masts etc..... Still got snow up there but down here it is very Spring-like today.

The Daffodils are almost at their end for us. We planted almost a thousand this year and its worth it for the color. This bunch was late for blooming and is still fairly young.

Stephen, it is very unusual and presents some great opportunities for photographers. However, it is has the lowest point in North America and is not really where you want to be during our summer months. Apparently, in July of 2018 it averaged 108 degrees for the month with daytime highs reaching 127 degrees four days in a row.

Looks a great place to be and shows off the 32-64, it is a great lens.
