With a big bang.... Kaboooooom.... immediately made it to my list of the very best pictures I've seen in my life.Alpa 12 STC, Rodenstock HR40, Hasselblad H3DII-50 back, horisontal shift +-18. Northern Norway July 2016.
Labour of love for me. I consider myself very fortunate that I do this for the fun of it!and the trouble with hi-res watch photography is the dirt and fingerprints, even straight from the manufacture they are covered in it.
not really visible with the naked eye but the camera never lies.
always a couple of hours retouch to clean up a watch:banghead:
Been a while since I've posted anything here. Recently I finally accepted the fact that if I wanted to move forward with my photography, I had to invest in some "proper" lights. Been putting it off for years for some reason. Last week took delivery of some Profoto gear, and here's the third photo shot with it.
Capcam, IQ250, Schneider 120mm
Full frame, single shot with tilt and swing.
Lots to learn, but am quite happy with how things have started out (ignoring the fact I didn't quite hit the crown right!)
Why oh why did I wait so long?
Kind regards,
Gerald.
